Art Capabilities
Macintosh files are always preferred.

File Types Accepted:
Adobe Creative Suite 6: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Layered/Workable PDF,
Freehand, Quark (w/ flattened PDF/JPG for hardcopy only)
Supply All Native Files:
Supply all working Files, Links and Fonts with your submission. If in doubt, more is always better! Links must be supplied for ALL FLEXO jobs. Always include the DIE LINE on a separate layer. Scanned line art should be a minimum of 1200 dpi at print size.
Fonts:
We have the complete Adobe Library along with hundreds of others font options. However, there are many different versions of fonts, so please supply all fonts used. Even outlined art will need the occasional typesetting.
Photoshop Files:
All files should be LAYERED, and converted to CMYK unless they are designed in grayscale, monotone or duotone. Resolution for images at print size should be: minimum of 300 dpi for 4-color process and grayscale, 1200 dpi for bitmap images.
PDF Files:
All PDF files should have fonts embedded, supplied or converted to outlines. Images should be a minimum of 300 dpi, and supplied separately whenever possible. PDFs (maintaining transparency) exported from Illustrator and InDesign are preferred.
Specific Tolerances:
Minimum line thickness: positive .25 pt (.0035") -OR- reverse .5 pt (.007")
Minimum type size: 3 point sans serif type for positive copy
5 point sans serif type for reverse copy
Minimum Bleed: .0625"
Minimum Die Clearance: .0625"
We will set all traps.
Conversion, rebuilding, typesetting, etc may require additional time and charges.
